Musician
Since I was fifteen years old I always loved and appreciated music. I started to play the piano (compulsory of my mother) but really feel in love with playing the guitar. I've owned three guitars and enjoy playing acoustic the most.
Travel Lover
I have visited 3/7 of the world's continents. My top two favorite countries have been Brazil and Belgium. Seeing, enjoying and tasting another culture is amazing. Each country holds a specific tradition, language and way of life that opens your mind and makes you ponder how you live your life.
Nederlander
I served my mission in the Nederlands and Belgium. I absolutely loved the Netherlands with its hundreds of ponds and thousands of windmills. One thing that I particularly liked about Holland was the culture. The Dutch people are very straight forward when speaking and don't cut around the bush. I've always been straightforward with people and finding a whole nation of straight talkers felt like I was home.
Cook
Whenever my family and I went over to my grandma's house I always helped her make and prepare meals. From that point forward I always enjoyed cooking for myself and learning new world recipes.
Awesome epithets! I like playing the guitar too but im probably not ag good at it as you. my personal favorite is the classical guitar but that might be because that the one I learned on. . My wife's family comes from the Netherlands about 2 generations back and they tell me all about that culture and food all the time! thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteIt's neat that you started playing the piano because your mom made you, but then you kept at it! That's the same with me, but I stuck with the piano I didn't switch to guitar. I feel like lots of people just drop music so it's neat to hear that you really liked it too! Also that's so awesome that you found a people that you totally connect with on your mission, that's such a cool thing to notice.
ReplyDeleteI love to travel too! I think it's awesome to get to know a new people and culture. I served my mission in Brazil, and I also loved the country. I have always wanted to learn how to cook better too because everyone in my family is so great at it.
